Can you paint over rust with Galmet RustPaint?
Yes, but if rust cannot be completely removed, first treat the surface with Galmet Ironize Rust Converter, then prime with Galmet Keytite Steel Primer before applying Galmet RustPaint. This ensures the surface is properly prepared and protected.
Is Galmet RustPaint available in aerosol cans?

How much area does Galmet RustPaint cover?
Coverage is typically 5–10 square metres per litre, depending on the surface and application method.
How long does Galmet RustPaint take to dry?
Drying times vary depending on conditions such as temperature, humidity and film thickness. In normal environments, Galmet RustPaint is touch dry in around two hours and can be recoated after 4–6 hours. For large projects, always allow for environmental factors when scheduling work.
