Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant is specially designed for metal, tapered pipe thread fittings.

This sealant is a superior alternative to Teflon® tape and pipe dopes, curing quickly to endure pressures up to 10,000 PSI. It prevents galling and shields threaded areas from rust and corrosion. Plus, it contains PTFE for enhanced protection.

Cures rapidly to withstand up to 10,000 PSI

Prevents galling and protects mated threaded areas from rust and corrosion

Formulated specifically for metal tapered pipe thread fittings

Prevents leakage from vibration, temperature cycling and extreme pressures

Stainless steel fittings, head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending units/sensors, oil and coolant lines, intake manifold switches, rear axle fill plug, and fuel fittings
