1. Surface Preparation
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as oil, grease, or dirt. Remove any loose rust, paint, or corrosion by wire brushing, sanding, or abrasive blasting as appropriate for the substrate.
2. Application
Apply Galmet Keytite Etch Primer evenly using a brush, roller, or spray equipment. Mix thoroughly before use to ensure even pigment distribution. Avoid over-application to maintain optimal film build.
3. Drying and Recoating
Allow the primer to dry thoroughly before applying a topcoat. Under normal conditions, Galmet Keytite Etch Primer can be recoated the same day. Compatible with most single-pack, two-pack, and industrial topcoats - always refer to the Technical Data Sheet to confirm system compatibility.
