AIRO-DUST ADDITIVE is a complex blend of surfactants used as an integral part of the AIRO-DUST process. It prevents the stone dust from caking and enables it to retain the required dusting action in the event of an explosion.

Features & Use

Imparts a hydrophobic coating during slurry application

Dried treated dry dust is less prone to caking than untreated dust

AIRO-DUST ADDITIVE adsorbs onto the surface of stone dust particles

Treated dust is also more readily dispersed in air movement

Treatment of stone dust applied to coal mine walls as an explosion retardant
