ITW Polymers & Fluids (A Division of ITW Australia) manufactures a wide range of chemical products including lubricants, surface coatings, grouts and epoxy compounds. As a responsible corporate citizen we conduct ourselves in such a manner as to be both aware of, and to minimise, the impact of our activities on the environment.

ITW Polymers & Fluids is committed to:

In order to achieve these objectives, we have implemented and documented an Environmental Management System that includes compliance, training and performance criteria based on the latest environmental practices.

We believe ITW Polymers & Fluids can continue to grow a successful business and contribute to the sustainable development of Australia’s resources. We will ensure that company operations meet or exceed best practice standards of environmental protection.

Environmental stewardship and compliance with this policy is the responsibility of all managers, supervisors and employees of the company.

Australian Packaging Covenant

As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, ITW Polymers and Fluids is committed to reducing the environmental impacts of consumer packaging. We will undertake actions in order to accomplish the Covenant’s goals by implementing design and procurement processes to help reduce the environmental impact of packaging. ITW Polymers and Fluids is also committed to the Covenant goals of Recycling and Product Stewardship.

An action plan has been developed with specific actions that are planned to be taken over the next five years to achieve the Covenant goals and provides baseline key performance indicators (KPI) to enable the performance of the company, in relation to the Covenant, to be measured on an ongoing basis.
